Housed within a 1950’s milk bar, the iconic Top Shop sits at the corner of Massinger and Carlyle Street just up from Clarkes Beach in Byron Bay.

Born in 2008 with a vision for quality and community, the Top Shop transformed from a simple milk bar into a haven for delicious fuelling food, top-notch coffee, and genuine smiles. Here, the focus is simple: high-quality ingredients, crafted with care, served in a laid-back atmosphere that feels like coming home.

Today, we continue to build upon that original vision. With the support of local farmers and suppliers we work hard to ensure that everyone who visits the Top Shop leaves with full bellies and big smiles (and possibly even a sunkissed glow from lounging out on the grass.) So, whoever you are, come on in to our little shop on the hill. Bring your friends, your family, your appetite (and maybe your sunscreen) and we promise to make you feel right at home.

The Top Shop is proud to work closely with local farmers and suppliers to give you the healthiest, best tasting and most ethically sourced produce available. Loaves and buns are organic and baked daily. Chicken and bacon are local and free-range. Hayters Hill Farm, overlooking the bay 5 minutes away, gives us beef patties, sausage and eggs that are pastured, free range and are incredibly fresh. Our list of great suppliers doing the right thing is extensive. Come on in and ask us all about it.
